The Dexdomitor dosing application and the contents therein (the “Application”) are owned by Orion Corporation, Orionintie 1, 02200 Espoo, Finland and/or its affiliates (hereinafter referred to as “Orion”). By accessing, downloading and using this application, you agree to the following terms of use (the “Terms”) and to abide by them:

Purpose and Use

The Application is intended to be used solely by veterinary professionals as an aid in administering dexdomitor (dexmedetomidine) for animals as set out and in accordance with the Summary of Product Characteristics (SPC), as approved from time to time by the European Medicines Agency (EMA (the “Permitted Purpose”). The Application must not be used in conjunction with administering any other product or for any other purpose than the Permitted Purpose, and Orion hereby expressly disclaims (without prejudice to the limitations set out below) any liability arising out of the possible use of the Application other than for the Permitted Purpose. The Application is not a replacement for and should only be used in conjunction with the professional judgment of an appropriately licensed veterinary professional, and further in strict accordance with the these Terms and the Instructions for Use contained in the Application (“Instructions”).

The Application does not contain all the available information that you require and cannot substitute professional medical care, nor does it take into account individual circumstances. Orion does not guarantee that the information provided in or generated by the Application covers all possible uses, precautions, drug interactions or adverse effects that may be associated with any of the therapeutic treatments. Reliance upon information derived by any prescriber from the Application is solely at the prescriber’s risk.

This Application is subject to copyright protection, with all copyrights retained and owned by Orion. All rights are reserved concerning Orion’s products and the product names, logotypes and trademarks of Orion and its partners.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Orion does not assume any liability or responsibility for damage or injury (including death) to any person or property arising from, caused in connection with or due to any use of the Application, including, but not limited to, any product, information, idea or instruction contained in the content provided in said application. In particular (but without limitation to the above) Orion does not assume any liability or responsibility for damage or injury caused by failure to follow the Instructions carefully.

This Application is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Orion, other members of our group of companies and third parties connected to us hereby expressly exclude:

• All conditions, warranties and other terms, which might be implied by statute, common law or the law of equity.
• Any liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage incurred by any user in connection with the Application or in connection with the use, inability to use, or results of the use of our Application, any websites linked to it and any materials posted on it, including, without limitation any liability for:
  • loss of income or revenue;
  • loss of business;
  • loss of profits or contracts;
  • loss of anticipated savings;
  • loss of data;
  • loss of goodwill;
  • wasted management or office time; and/or

Neither the Application nor the server that makes it available is guaranteed to be free of viruses or other harmful components. Orion will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a distributed denial-of-service attack, viruses or other technologically harmful material that may infect your equipment, software, data or other proprietary material due to your use of our Application.

Information on this application may contain inaccurate information or information which has not been updated, although Orion will use reasonable efforts in seeking to update the information within the application without undue delay after a relevant change to background evidence or information has occurred. Orion may, without giving notice thereof, change, improve or update the Application, or cancel access to the Application or part thereof at any time.
